One of L.A.’s Most Expensive and Bespoke Penthouses Hits the Market for $29 Million
Last summer, The Weeknd finally sold his 18th-floor, ultra-custom penthouse in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles after a lengthy two years on the market. Sited within the Wilshire Corridor’s exclusive Beverly West building, the mansion-sized spread went for $18 million, plus $1 million more for the furnishings. Though it was among the highest prices ever paid for an L.A. condo, it was still around $2 million less than the Grammy-winning musician originally paid for the place back in late 2019.
Now an even more exclusive and bespoke penthouse has surfaced for sale in the same Emaar Properties-developed building, this one trying its hand at finding a buyer who will dole out a lofty $28.9 million for a fantastically ultra-luxe, never-before-lived-in residence. First offered in summer 2022 at just under $40 million, the latest listing is now held by Tomer Fridman, Sally Forster Jones and condo mogul Amir Ensani of Compass.

Occupying the entire top floor of the 22-story boutique condo tower, which sports just 35 units overlooking the Los Angeles Country Club—and known as “The Producer”—the all-new pad offers three bedrooms and six baths in almost 8,000 square feet of Lisa Garriss-designed living space adorned throughout with a mix of natural stone and wide-plank white oak floors, walnut paneling, soaring ceilings and designer lighting. Floor-to-ceiling walls of glass in almost every room also offer up panoramic vistas stretching from Downtown L.A to the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains beyond.
Highlights include an elevator-accessible foyer opening to a hallway sporting a climate-controlled wine vault. From there, an open-plan great room spanning the entire length of the building holds a living room, formal dining area and an entertainer’s bar. Tucked around the corner is an Italian Arclinea kitchen outfitted with stainless countertops, floating shelves and top-of-the-line Miele appliances; and elsewhere around the penthouse’s perimeter are an office, a screening room and an opulent primary suite that comes complete with a private balcony, as well as dual walk-in closets and luxe baths.
Topping it all off are a host of building amenities—courtesy of a substantial $9,054 monthly HOA charge—which include 24/7 security, valet parking, a saltwater pool and spa, fitness center and even a helipad. And for those seeking stylish transport, there’s also a “house car” with a dedicated driver willing to whisk residents around Los Angeles.
