When you’re Oprah Winfrey, anything goes — even casual clothes on the red carpet. The television personality dressed in head to toe black and white for the premiere of her HBO film The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.

Winfrey paired a white top with thin black stripes with a sheer, subtle peplum hem with a white blazer and black flare pants. She even matched her glasses! Bonus: It even looks comfortable.

The color combination seems to be one she’s a fan of. Just the next day, she visited the 60 Minutes office wearing black trousers, a white button-down, and a black blazer vest.

“Remember how you felt your very first day of school? That’s how I felt today meeting this iconic team,” she wrote on Instagram.

Winfrey’s currently out promoting the film, which will premiere on HBO on April 22. It tells the story of Henrietta Lacks, a woman who changed the face of medical research without her knowledge or consent. Oprah, who originally bought the rights to the book and co-produced the film, told the New York Times she had no intention of acting in the movie. Thanks to some convincing from HBO president Len Amato and director George C. Wolfe, she eventually came on board to star as Lacks’s daughter Deborah.

“I live to tell stories that touch on what it means to be a black woman in the world, so I still feel it’s a miracle that we know it was an African-American woman who contributed all this to the medical field and we wouldn’t even know the story without [book narrator & author] Rebecca Skloot,” she said of the role.
