It looks like the Oreo Java Chip cookies aren’t the only new flavor we have to look forward to. Nabisco is launching a Chocolate Hazelnut flavor, so it’s basically like you’re eating Nutella cookies (and what could be better than that?).

If this flavor sounds familiar, you’re probably thinking of the limited-edition variety that came out in 2018. Those, however, had a Chocolate Hazelnut creme sandwiched between two Golden Oreos. The new version will have the classic chocolate cookies that are stuffed with Chocolate Hazelnut creme, so there’s even more chocolate this time around.

The Oreo team has confirmed that the Chocolate Hazelnut cookies — and the Java Chip variety — will be hitting stores in January 2021. Yes, that seems like it’s forever away, but at least we’ll have a couple tasty treats waiting for us after the holiday season. Plus, they’ll both be joining Oreo’s line of permanent flavors, so we’ll take them as a belated Christmas gift.

We haven’t been this excited for a Nutella-esque product since M&M’s released Hazelnut Spread candies and Costco began carrying a 7-pound tub of Nutella. What can we say? Chocolate hazelnut goodness is right up our alley.
