Orlando Bloom just gave us one more reason to swoon.

When the Hobbit star found a bloodied dog abandoned on a street in Shanghai, China Sunday, he couldn't help but come to its rescue. Rather than just walking by it, Bloom scooped up the pup and nursed it back to health.

In an Instastory he shared with fans that day, captured by Yahoo, the scraped up dog, who is missing fur near its backside, can be standing in the street alone. "This lil' girl," Bloom captioned the shot, adding a broken heart emoji.

From there, he documented her rescue, taking her straight to the vet where he helped shave her and calm her down, telling her softly, 'good girl.'

When it was time for her bath, Bloom helped bathe her, making sure the water was at the right temperature. "Too hot! Too hot!" he can be heard saying, before they got the temp just right for the dog.

Once she was all clean, the dog-loving thesp shared another photo that showed the dog resting soundly with a cone around her head. "Step 3: R&R," he captioned the shot.

Bloom, who has been filming Smart Chase: Fire & Earth in Shanghai, has made it no secret that he's a dog lover. He rescued his own pup, Sidi, off the streets of Morocco while he was filming The Kingdom of Heaven in 2011.
