“Recently, I've learned how to cope with it all by practicing self-love and affirmations and diving deeper into my spiritual life," the star, who is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, explained to the outlet. "It wasn't until the last couple of years that I've started feeling really good about myself and my body, and feeling comfortable and everything. Those moments of self-love aren't 24/7, but the bad moments are fewer and further between."
Jackson added that she tries to keep an “open mind” about not only makeup, but “everything” in her life.
"I was raised by a free-love, hippie-type dude, so we were taught that beauty comes from the inside,” she noted, “and to this day, I still believe that."
Jackson has previously spoken about her battle with mental health issues. She told in 2017 that she had tried to die by suicide on multiple occasions, and that she engaged in self-harming behaviors following a sexual assault at age 14. She in 2019.
