Rick’s representative, Laura Herlovich, previously confirmed Adam's death to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
"Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss," the Harrison family said in a statement shared with the outlet.
Adam, who is Rick’s oldest son, was the brother of Corey Harrison. Their mother is Rick’s first wife, Kim. (Rick also has a third son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy.)
Corey, 40, similarly paid tribute to Adam in a touching post on Instagram, writing, "Wax wtf I will always love you bubba.”
Alongside his message, he shared an image of himself holding up a photograph of the brothers playing in a bathtub together as children.
Unlike his father Rick and brother Corey, Adam did not appear on Pawn Stars, a reality series that chronicles business at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada.
An investigation into Adam's death is currently ongoing, the Las Vegas Metro Police told TMZ.
Herlovich and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for further comment on Friday.
