PDA Alert! Prince William & Kate Middleton Are Total Love Birds During Royal Outing

Attention royal afficionados! Prince William and Kate Middleton just showed PDA not once, but twice.

This week, the couple attended the 2022 Royal Charity Polo Cup at Guards Polo Club in England and broke royal protocol on two different occasions. It all started when Middleton congratulated her husband (who participated in the match) with a kiss on the cheek.

Middleton wore a gorgeous white dress that featured black seams on the front. Prince William opted for a polo uniform (for obvious reasons). After the PDA moment, the pair walked away with their arms around each other.

Their affection might not seem like a big deal, especially since they’ve been married for 11 (and counting) years. However, Queen Elizabeth prefers that couples keep their hands to themselves during public engagements because they’re technically at work. So, any form of unnecessary touching counts as breaking royal protocol.

It’s important to note that this rule isn’t heavily enforced (to our knowledge). While they may get scolded behind closed doors, this isn’t the first time that Prince William and Middleton have shown PDA.

For example, their 2021 Christmas card. The photo featured the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posing with their three children, Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4). While the duke rested his hand on his wife’s knee, the duchess reached over his arm and did the same.

Never change, you two.
