Take a Peek Inside Meghan Markle’s Living Room

She's already an actress, lifestyle blogger, and activist, but Meghan Markle could add aspiring decorator to her resume. The Suits star (and girlfriend of Prince Harry) has a fabulous Instagram filled with photos of food, travel destinations, fashion, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of her job and humanitarian work. But we think the photos of her Toronto home and her two rescue dogs, Guy and Bogart, could be one of the best things about her feed.

From what we've seen in photos, Meghan's house is equal parts calm, inviting, and stylish. The actress seems to be a fan of crisp neutrals, luxe textures and materials, and greens and blooms everywhere. There's no lack of fresh flowers in her home--from peonies to sweet peas.

While we can't all be lucky enough to date a royal, we can decorate like her. Here, we used an Instagram photo of her bright white living room (above) as inspiration. The comfortable sectional is white--a tricky color to pull off in space that gets used a lot--but some neutral throws or Turkish towels piled on can help shield the fabric against spills or messes. Behind the sofa is a modern marble-topped tulip table--we're not sure if it's a genuine Saarinen design, but inspired versions that won't set you back thousands of dollars are available to buy. At the table, tulip armchairs covered in fur throws add some cozy texture to a very modern, contemporary design. (You could also drape small rugs over the chairs.) To complete the look, Meghan accessorizes the space with a gilded, antique-inspired mirror, fresh blooms, the ever-popular fiddle leaf fig plant, and Gray Malin beach artwork on the wall.
