Penn Badgley Named Dan's Most "Villainous" Gossip Girl Storyline
Penn Badgley, aka Joe, aka Dan, aka (DECADE-OLD SPOILER ALERT) Gossip Girl himself, has entered the chat … about him.
In a video with Esquire, the You star answered questions about his career and the Brooklyn-dwelling character who started it all: Dan Humphrey.
When asked to name the "absolute worst" thing Dan did on the show, Badgley had an answer at the ready.

"He outed his sister losing her virginity," Badgley said, referencing Taylor Momsen's fan-favorite character, Jenny. "These storylines are twisted," he continued, "This is villainous."

Badgley also revealed the "most challenging scene" he'd filmed on GG — and it's not for the reasons you'd expect.
"The last one," he said, "where I had to say Gossip Girl was dead and I could not keep it together." OK, fair. "I kept laughing. I couldn't stop. I was sweating. I was like having an out-of-body experience."
RIP Gossip Girl and also Badgley's composure.
