Helen Flanagan has been praised by fans for sharing photos of herself breastfeeding her newborn in the park.

The actress is one of many celebrities who have been sharing brelfies to their social media accounts in a bid to help normalise breastfeeding.

In one of the sweet snapshots, the ‘Coronation Street’ actress is seen cradling her baby daughter Delilah while her eldest daughter, Matilda, two looks on.

“My life now feeding my baby girl and making sure my big girl gets lots of love our girls Matilda and Delilah,” the 27-year-old captioned the series of pictures on Instagram.

“So lucky, so in love with both my beautiful girls #DelilahRuby5daysold.”

And fans were quick to offer congratulations to the mum-of-two, as well as praising her for doing her bit to normalise breastfeeding.

“Beautiful images. Well done you for promoting a healthy view of breastfeeding and a feeding mummy,” one user wrote.

“So beautiful. Huge congratulations and thanks for normalising breastfeeding. Go Mumma,” another added.

“Such a beautiful picture. I know breastfeeding is natural (I still bf my 14 month old) but it’s just so wonderful having those in the public eye normalising it. Thank you!” another fan praised.

Since Delilah’s birth last week Helen has been busy documenting her life as a mum-of-two.

“Our beautiful precious daughter Delilah Ruby Sinclair was born yesterday on the 22nd of June at 5.18pm weighing 6lbs 15oz. I had a very quick labour, a water birth with just gas and air, absolutely besotted so in love,” she wrote alongside a picture of her cradling Delilah in the birthing pool.

She later shared a picture of Delilah meeting her big sister for the very first time.

So lucky 💞 Matilda was very quiet at the hospital 😄xxx

Though her birth and breastfeeding journey both seem to be going smoothly, Helen’s pregnancy was a little more complicated after she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), the same condition the Duchess of Cambridge has suffered from.

“I have just been really poorly. I couldn’t go into work and do any filming. I had hypermesis gravidarum, it lasted for five weeks. It doesn’t sound like a long time but I was just so ill. Luckily it cleared up at ten weeks,” she told OK! magazine.

“I know some women have a horrific time and end up in hospital for nine months, so I was lucky, but it was horrendous.”
