With more than 20,000 reviews on Amazon, Stasher storage bags are loved by parents, teachers, and, well, everyone for storing snacks, leftovers, sandwiches, toiletries, and anything other on-the-go essentials.

These premium silicone bags have been on Amazon's best-seller list for awhile, and understandably so. Not only are they a more sustainable option than one-use bags, Stashers are also safe for the freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and boiling water a.k.a. perfect for your lunch-packing, leftover-saving, and sous-vide-cooking needs. That means, a single bag can be used over and over again (up to 3,000 times or over eight years of daily use), whether you need it to keep something hot, cold, or room temperature.

One Amazon reviewer even put their leakproof claim to the test. "The Stasher bag protects the content from leaking or encroaching spillage, which wipes away easily," wrote one reviewer. "I filled it 1/3 with water and placed it upside-down for 4 hours, and the bag did not leak. Needless to say, the seal is great and easy to operate, even for school-aged kids. It is flexible but keeps its form." To remove any food remnants — whether sticky, smelly, or a mix of the two — you can simply pop them in the dishwasher and they'll be as good as new.

Parents, especially, rave about how the different size options — Stashers come in 5 sizes and 13 colors, from pastels to brights — make packing lunches way easier. Along with the pocket, sandwich, snack, and half-gallon bags, Stashers makes Stand-Ups to take the mess out of storing leftovers.

The Good Housekeeping Institute is also a big fan. "In our Kitchen Appliances Lab’s test, the Stashers were more airtight than other reusable storage options like beeswax wrap,” says Betty Gold, senior editor and product analyst. "And we love that they are a greener alternative to using disposable bags."

It may seem like a big investment at first, but they definitely pay for themselves over time. Instead of picking up a box of plastic baggies — snack, sandwich-size, gallon-size, and freezer-safe options — every time you go to the grocery store, you'll already have a permanent collection of silicone bags stashed and ready to go.
