Phoebe Waller-Bridge Is Giving up That Amazing Couture Tweed Suit — for a Good Cause

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is auctioning off her sparkly Golden Globes suit to help raise money for those affected by the Australian brush fires.

The Fleabag star, who took home Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical award at the ceremony Sunday night, strolled into the press room in the dazzling black Ralph & Russo tuxedo suit with trophy in hand, and said she was donating the look for charity.

“We worked with Ralph & Russo, who are the Australian designers who created this couture suit ... which is the most extraordinary thing I've ever worn, and we're going to auction it,” Waller-Bridge said, adding that the money will go towards relief in Australia. "It's really beautiful,” she added of the country.

Waller-Bridge's announcement comes on the heels of fellow nominee Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban’s $500,000 donation to wildfire relief in Australia, which they announced Saturday. "Our family’s support, thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires all over Australia," they captioned their announcement via Instagram. "We are donating $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services who are all doing and giving so much right now."
