Pippa Middleton has already had the wedding of the year. Now, it looks like the 33-year-old is attempting to outdo everyone in the honeymoon department too.

After marrying James Matthews on May 20, the newlyweds jetted off to a remote island in tropical French Polynesia for a private week of relaxation. The couple have now moved on to part two of their romantic vacation, having touched down in Sydney, Australia recently.

For a romantic day trip, the pair boarded a water taxi outside of their hotel in the famous Australian harbor that took them by the Sydney Opera House. They then boarded a sea plane that flew then to Rose Bay Wharf where they dined at the secluded Cottage Point Inn for lunch. Items on the menu include kangaroo tartare, smoked eel, wild kingfish, and more eclectic dishes.

The recent bride swapped her couture wedding gown for a much more casual look. Wearing a black-and-white striped dress from Kate Spade ($798), Middleton paired the off-duty ensemble with a pair of espadrille wedges and a chain leather bag.

They are reportedly staying in an extravagant suite at the Park Hyatt hotel, costing about $14,000 a night. Pippa and James previously stayed at The Brando resort, according to reports, a luxurious celeb-loved spot (the Obamas, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, and more have visited) that costs around $3,500 a night in French Polynesia.

That’s a lot more than Pippa’s sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her husband, Prince William, spent on their honeymoon. The royal couple, who married in April 2011, headed off to stay in a $5,160-a-night villa in the Seychelles.

It’s not surprising Pippa and James would shell out a lot for their honeymoon considering the cost of their wedding. The entire day featured a fly-by from a vintage plane along with a grand glass marquee.
