A new memorial will be unveiled Wednesday in Auburn to honor Placer County Sheriff's deputies who died in the line of duty. Nine fallen deputies will be honored during the tribute. Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo came up with the idea, saying it was important to keep their stories and legacies alive for generations to come.
