Please Allow Keanu Reeves to Soothe You to Sleep

Trouble sleeping? Keanu Reeves can help with that.

The actor, Internet boyfriend, and stand-up human will be narrating a new series from HBO Max that, according to Variety, "combines mesmeric imagery with narration by A-list stars" to help you relax. The series, titled A World of Calm, comes from the makers of the highly popular sleep app Calm — you know, the one in which Harry Styles reads bedtime stories.

Each episode of A World of Calm is half an hour, and is meant to "transport the viewer into tranquility through scientifically-engineered narratives, enchanting music and astounding footage, to naturally calm your body and soothe the mind."

We're not sure exactly what that looks like yet, but they had us from Keanu Reeves.

However, Reeves isn't the only draw — other narrators for the new show include Mahershala Ali, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Zoë Kravitz, Lucy Liu, and Cillian Murphy.

Last week, the Calm app announced they had partnered with Harry Styles for a 30-minute "Sleep Story" called "Dream With Me." Styles is also an investor in the company, which, fair enough. During a time when a global pandemic is still ravaging multiple countries, we can use all the calm and relaxation we can get.
