Amy Giberson and Justin Pounders first met at Sunshine Preschool in St. Petersburg, Florida, when they were 3 years old. They liked chasing each other on the playground, playing with legos, and sitting together at lunch. The young sweethearts were totally inseparable.

But, as first loves tend to do, they drifted apart. They went to different elementary schools and eventually forgot about each other. That is until they matched on a dating site 30 years later, fell in love all over again, and said "I do" in a dream-come-true wedding in 2016.

The fairytale romance didn't stop there. At 4:35 p.m. on June 5, they welcomed their first baby together, a "breathtakingly beautiful" boy named Conrad.

"The stars really had to align for everything to happen," Amy, 35, tells GoodHousekeeping.com. "It's weird, though, to think that in 3 years Conrad will be the same age that Justin and I met."

Their love story and family finally feel "complete," adds Amy. But it hasn't exactly been an easy journey.

Long before the new parents reconnected online, Justin, now 36, was engaged to a woman named Adrianne, who was tragically killed in July 2012.

He never thought he'd find love again, but decided to give online dating a shot. In November 2014, he ran across Amy's profile and was instantly drawn to her. Neither of them realized they had flirted in preschool so many years ago.

The two struck up a pretty serious romance, but it would take another year for them to realize they both attended Sunshine Preschool.

After going viral for their incredible love story in 2015, Justin proposed to Amy during a live taping of ABC’s The View, recruiting toddlers from their former preschool to hold up a sign that read: Amy, will you marry me?

Of course, she said yes.

Their "dream wedding" took place one year later. Former co-host of The View, Michelle Collins, officiated the ceremony that took place at Mahaffey Theater in downtown St. Petersburg.

The couple knew they wanted children and immediately started thinking about expanding their family. But they were hit with devastating news over and over again.

"We had three early miscarriages," says Amy. "I would test positive and then lose it."

So when Conrad was finally born, she says, they both "cried and held him close."

"Everything that's transpired in our lives, us coming back together and making this beautiful little person, it’s all very surreal," says Amy. "For Conrad Pounders to exist, it’s been a long journey, but it does feel like everything has come full circle."
