Prettiest dresses from the 2020 Grammys

It was music's biggest night out, so of course, the red carpet had to live up to the hype!

On Sunday night, some of the most high-profile names in the industry gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to celebrate the biggest accomplishments in music over the past year. The night was filled with a plethora of spectacular celebrity performances and moving Hollywood tributes, but one of the biggest highlights from the annual awards show, unsurprisingly, was its show-stopping fashion.

Ariana Grande had a total Cinderella moment in a tulle Giambattista Valli ball gown while Jameela Jamil dazzled in a cobalt blue Georges Chakra Couture creation.

Dua Lipa gave off major '90s vibes in silk Alexander Wang, Chrissy Teigen looked splendid in an orange, voluminous Yanina gown and Heidi Klum showed off major skin in Dundas.

However, it was Gwen Stefani's Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress, with its intricate shell designs, that ranked one of the prettiest looks of the night.

The singer, who later took the stage to perform her new duet with Blake Shelton, joked that her outfit a tribute to her boyfriend.

“Shell-ton, do you get it?" Stefani asked Ryan Seacrest on the show's red carpet.

“Basically, Blake has been gathering shells over the last four years since we met,” fibbed Stefani of the dress' backstory. “It's actually Dolce & Gabbana, but they did use some of the shells Blake collected for me over the years.”

A confused Seacrest then asked the couple if they were joking.

"Of course, man,” Shelton said, adding, "Actually some of these still have creatures in them, we didn’t have time to clean them all out perfectly.”
