Prince Charles Is Reportedly “Aggrieved” That Prince Harry Exposed Family Drama in an “Insensitive” Way

Prince Charles, Prince Harry, and Prince William reportedly sat down for “peace talks” after Prince Philip’s funeral last month, and sources are finally revealing what was said. According to insiders who spoke to The Sun, the royals didn’t “make any progress” when it came to specific claims Harry and Meghan made during their bombshell interview with Oprah but instead focused on how to move forward.

“Harry, William, and Charles focused on reaching some form of peace and stability within the family moving forward,” the source explained. “The conversations were focused less on what has happened and what was said with Oprah and more on how to move forward as a family. And that is not an easy path, it requires time and understanding.”

The source continued:

“Charles felt aggrieved at how the family’s personal affairs and family dramas were expressed in such an ‘insensitive’ way,” while “Harry stands by his words and stands by his wife regarding the way they chose to express ‘their truth.’ Certainly Charles and William will not delve into these matters publicly. There is a feeling that any actions raised by Meghan and Harry’s claims will only ever remain behind palace doors.”

As a reminder, the Sussexes spoke candidly about their experience living among the royals, opening up about ongoing bullying, racism, and a lack of mental health resources as well as their personal relationship with Harry’s family. The palace has remained silent on the interview, save for this statement:

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
