Prince George's 'Christopher Robin chic' style lands him on the best-dressed list at age 5

Looks like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle might have some competition in the stakes for most fashionable royal — here comes 5-year-old Prince George with a best-dressed nod.

The London-based society and fashion magazine Tatler has revealed its Britain’s Best Dressed 2018 list, and a certain royal heir with a penchant for shorts, blue sweater sets, and knee socks has made the cut.

According to the magazine, Prince George — the oldest son of Prince William and Kate — “flies the flag for Christoper Robin chic,” a reference to Winnie the Pooh’s human pal.

The future king often wears classic looks from Spanish labels. He was most recently spied wearing an Amaia Kids collared shirt with blue piping and navy shorts in his fifth birthday portrait, released last month.

While George’s younger siblings, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and 3-month-old Prince Louis, weren’t recognized for their own sartorial sense, plenty of other royal family members were.

Mother Kate got props for recycling her favorite wardrobe staples, while newly minted Aunt Meghan has “redefined modern royal style.” Step-grandmother Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was praised for her hats, while great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II was hailed as “the ultimate power dresser” thanks to her preference for bold colors.

Still, only one person can really pull off a school uniform and knee socks. Take a bow, kid.
