Prince Harry is the most attractive male royal, according to science

While Prince Harry may not be next in line for the throne, he can take comfort in knowing he’s Britain’s most attractive royal — at least according to science.

Sorry, Wills.
Sorry, Wills.

With Meghan Markle being crowned as the most conventionally beautiful soon-to-be royal, it’s only diE that her future husband follow suit in the male category. According to a scientific formula pioneered by the ancient Greeks, Prince Harry’s face is about 81.4 per cent accurate according to the golden ratio. With Markle rating at 100 per cent, it’s clear to see Harry is still punching above his weight.

When it comes to male royals, one cosmetic surgeon told Daily Mail that when rating the ratio of eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and face shapes, Prince Harry is the reigning king.

“Prince Harry has striking facial symmetry and gets closer than all the other royal men to having what the ancient Greeks considered the perfect face,” said cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva. “Harry scored particularly highly for the shape of his chin, the near-perfect length of his face, the gap between his nose and lips, and his eye spacing… He got his lowest score for his thin lips which, with a rating of 71 per cent, had the poorest score of the four royal males.”

Ouch.

While Prince William wasn’t far off from first place, his lower score can be attributed to his “longer” face. The Duke of Cambridge had a rating of 80.9 per cent. Following behind him was Peter Phillips, Zara Phillips’s husband, and former English rugby star Mike Tindall.

“Prince William gets a very high rating, too, and stands out for having easily the highest score for his nose and for his eye position,” said De Silva. “He was marked down for his face length, achieving the lowest score of the four at 85 per cent. He also got the lowest score for the gap between his nose and lips, and also for his chin.”

“Now science has provided the answer – Prince Harry is a very narrow winner in a close contest which reveals that both men are incredibly handsome,” he said.

With the Duke of Cambridge next in line for the throne, it’s only fair that his younger brother win this royal competition. Poor Wills.
