It looks like royals are even roped into doing the school run after Prince Harry was spotted with son Archie at playgroup for the first time.

The doting dad, 35, joined his six-month-old son and wife Meghan Markle at a playgroup session near their home in Frogmore Cottage recently.

A source told People: "There were a couple of other dads there — he wasn’t the only dad there!”

And when it comes to making friends, it looks like Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor has a type.

“Archie had a fantastic time. He was crawling around and was particularly taken with two other red-haired babies," an insider told The Daily Express.

“The Duke said: ‘Gingers stick together!’”

The Duchess of Sussex, 38, recently admitted the tot was having a "lot of fun" at his local playgroup during the WellChild Awards with Harry last month.

Although little Archie may want to get all the playtime he can with his friends before the family jet off to the US for six weeks.

The couple are in desperate need of some time to themselves - and they've planned a trip to America to get it.

A royal source told the Sunday Times, “The Duke and Duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much needed family time.”

During their break, the couple will be "dividing their time between the US and the UK". They're planning to fly to the US, where Archie will be celebrating Thanksgiving in Los Angeles with Meghan's mum Doria Ragland.

And luckily for Dora, the family are spending Christmas with her, too.

Following in the footsteps of Kate Middleton, who has chosen to spend Christmas with her family rather than the royals in previous years, the couple will not be spending the day with the Queen at Sandringham.

A royal spokesperson confirmed the couple were "looking forward to extended family time" after spending the last two Christmases with the royals.

It sounds like Archie has a busy few months ahead.
