Prince William reveals the hobby Prince George shares with his late grandmother Princess Diana

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridgeare proud doting parents of three youngsters, Prince George, Princess Charlotteand baby Prince Louis. And sadly, the three have had to grow up without their grandmother, Princess Diana, but that doesn’t stop them from following in her footsteps. At the recent Radio 1 Teen Awards, the duke opened up about his eldest child and how he adorably takes after his late grandma – by dancing!

While chatting with one of the award recipients at the event in Kensington Palace, the father of three shared: “George is doing dancing as well, he loves it. And it’s kind of… My mother always used to dance, she loved dancing. And if it’s something you love, you do what you love. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it.” The prince, 36, was chatting with 14-year-old UK Freestyle Street Dance Champion, Junior, who shared that he was bullied as a kid for being a male dancer. Taking inspiration from his own experience, the teen started an anti-bullying campaign with the hashtag #BoysCanDance.

Of course, this is a cause close to William and Kate’s hearts, as the royal couple puts a lot of effort into their own mental health awareness campaigns, like Heads Together. One of Kate’s many patronages, Place2Be, also combines her passion for education and ridding the stigma around youth mental health issues. Junior has done well for himself at such a young age – his artistic skill has helped raise over CA$510,000 for various charities. He was even a Youth Board Member on the Diana Award National Anti-Bullying Youth Board.

The secret event was one of many Duchess Kate has been a part of since welcoming Prince Louis into the Cambridge clan in April and wrapping up her maternity leave in early October. For her first royal engagement back, the 36-year-old visited the Sayers Croft Forest School and Garden Centre, an initiative that provides outdoor education time for inner-city youth. She shared some of the sweetest moments with the adorable kids who were overjoyed to be meeting her, and even participated in story time with the youngsters. The Cambridge kids can count themselves lucky to be raised by parents with such big hearts!
