Last week, Princess Beatrice married her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in an intimate, private ceremony in Windsor, attended only by those closest to the bride and groom.

Shortly after the royal wedding took place, Town & Country confirmed that guests also celebrated the happy couple at a "small reception" following the religious service. And now, new details about the after-party have been revealed.

Per People, a few additional guests joined in the reception festivities, but it was still an exclusive group. “A few more people were there than the wedding, but it was still very small and intimate. It was all outdoors and under a tent with the same matching floral design and theme as the wedding,” a source told the publication. T&C also previously reported that the wedding had a "secret garden" theme, with abundant flowers by RVH Floral Design.

As is tradition, toasts were reportedly made by the groom, the bride's father, Prince Andrew, and the groom's stepbrother, Alby Shale. And since live music performances still aren't allowed in the UK, the soundtrack to the evening music was reportedly played from an iPhone connected to the speakers. And after the after-party, guests reportedly stayed in "glamping" pods, located on the church grounds and "partied into the night."

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic certainly influenced Beatrice's wedding plans. She had initially intended to wed in London in May, but had to postpone her nuptials because of the global health crisis. And social distancing requirements in the UK limited the number of people who would watch her say "I do."

But the smaller-scale was also helpful in navigating the enormous scrutiny the father-of-the-bride, Prince Andrew, currently faces over his associations with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and the newly arrested Ghislaine Maxwell.

“I think because of everything going on with her dad, this [scaled-down wedding] was actually better in many ways,” a friend told People.
