Princess Charlotte Couldn’t Stop Waving at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s Wedding
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are experts at wedding parties at this point. They served as a bridesmaid and page boy in Pippa Middleton’s, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s, and most recently, Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs’s, nuptials. Today, they reprised their roles at Princess Eugenie’s wedding at Windsor Castle—and charmed the world again in the process.
They arrived at the castle in a Rolls Royce, where cameras spotted Princess Charlotte waving at the crowd. As all the children exited the car (including royal cousins Mia Tindall, Isla Philips, and Savannah Philips), Charlotte kept waving, and waving, and waving. While walking up the stairs hand in hand with the other bridesmaids and page boys, she turned back to the crowd to keep waving.
That, combined with a gust of wind, caused the group to take a small tumble at the top of the steps.
But all was well: The group happily congregated minutes later in St. George’s Chapel. Charlotte was seen smiling with Savannah and George—the same trio that had quite a good time on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour.
Eugenie dressed her bridesmaids in white dresses with green, multicolored sashes and flowers in their hair. Her page boys wore navy blue pants, white collared shirts, and matching bows. They walked down the aisle in groups of three, holding hands throughout.
Although there are no royal weddings scheduled in the near future, hopefully this isn't the last joyful wedding performance the world sees from the Cambridge children. Perhaps, eventually, Prince Louis will join in.
