Princess Charlotte started school on Monday, and parents Kate Middleton and Prince William couldn’t resist sharing adorable photos snapped by mom.

In the two pics, Instagrammed and tweeted by Kensington Palace Monday, the 2-year-old is wearing a $162 red, Amaia Kids coat with matching Mary Jane shoes, a baby-pink scarf, and brown tights. She’s also carrying a pink backpack.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School,” the palace captioned the photos, which have over 550,000 likes combined.

Fans on Twitter also gushed over the tot.

In December, the palace announced that Charlotte would attend the Willcocks Nursey School, a female-led academy at the Holy Trinity Church. The school, where tuition for its 5-day program is about $12,000 (plus a $2,000 initial deposit), “strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners,” according to its website.

The school offers lots of “free play” for its 32 students, between the ages of 2 3/4 and 5 years old, who learn to read, write, and perform simple math with “the minimum of pressure.” And parents can sign up for the “Lunch Club,” an additional learning experience with French lessons and activities like painting and drama.

“We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte,” the school said in a December statement. “We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.”

Many assumed Charlotte would attend Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk just like 4-year-old brother Prince George, who also enrolled at age 2. On George’s first day in 2016, Middleton shared a few snaps of her son heading off to school wearing a blue puffy coat with plaid lining and carrying a light-blue backpack.

The future king currently attends Thomas’s Battersea in London, for children ages 4 to 13, where on his first day in September, he was photographed nervously holding his father’s hand and meeting the head teacher.

It’s unclear how Charlotte will be addressed by the school staff, but it might be “Charlotte Cambridge,” similarly to George Cambridge, as he’s called at school.

It’s a time of new beginnings for the young royals, between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s highly publicized engagement, the impending birth of the duke and duchess’s third child in April, and Middleton’s 36th birthday on Tuesday.
