Celia McCorquodale, the daughter of Princess Diana's sister, Lady Sarah, married George Woodhouse at a church in Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire on Saturday. The bride wore a full-skirted gown with lace detailing over the bodice, and completed her look with a very special family heirloom.

McCorquodale held her full-length veil in place with the same tiara worn by Diana when she married Prince Charles in 1981. The beautiful headpiece is said to have been in the Spencer family for almost a century and was worn by both of Diana's siblings, Jane and Sarah, at their weddings.

The diamond bandeau has an interesting history. According to The Court Jeweller blog, the central part of the tiara was given as a wedding present to Lady Cynthia Hamilton, Diana's grandmother, when she married Albert, Viscount Althorp in 1919. The top and end parts of the design are said to have come from Albert’s great aunt, Lady Sarah Isabella Spencer, with the House of Garrard constructing the jewels into the tiara we know it as today in the 1930s.

Just a few weeks after their own big day, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry travelled to Lincolnshire for the family occasion. The Duchess of Sussex wore a blue and white Oscar de la Renta dress paired with a Marks & Spencer fascinator and a mirrored clutch bag. Harry's cousin, Lady Kitty Spencer, was also among the guests. The Dolce & Gabbana model was dressed in a rose-print dress and a matching headpiece with a floral detail.
