Princess the 'gold-diggin' dog cons McDonald's customers into feeding her free burgers

Princess can’t seem to curb her craving for Big Macs and fries, so the dog has taken to sneaking out at night and walking herself to the parking lot of a local McDonald’s in Oklahoma City to get her fix. In a Facebook post that’s now gone viral, her owner, Betsy Reyes, accused the pup of pretending to be a stray, so fast food customers will throw her free burgers.

If you see my dog @ the McDonald’s on shields, quit feeding her fat a**,” Reyes wrote in a hilarious caption, calling Princess a “gold diggin a** b****” and confirming she’s definitely not a stray. In the post, the busted pooch sits sweetly in the lot in a photo taken by Reyes after she retrieved her.

On Monday night, Reyes noticed the dog was missing, so she hopped in her car to survey the neighborhood. Lo and behold, there was Princess busking for burgers outside McDonald’s — Reyes even caught and posted video of a kind stranger throwing the animal food from her window. “Can’t be mad at her hustle,” one person commented.

Reyes posted a second video of the dog’s reaction when she saw her owner. Princess is seen wagging her tail sheepishly and jumping up to the passenger’s side window as she sees the car pull up. “LMAO she recognized me,” Reyes wrote.

Princess may be in the doghouse now, but her sophisticated stunt is definitely delighting the internet. The original post has been shared more than 275,000 times, and Reyes’s videos of the guilty pup have been viewed more than 476,000 times. Tens of thousands of commenters find the dog to be everything from adorable to relatable. “I can relate to this doggo on a spiritual level,” one wrote.

Reyes says the shameless habit is nothing new, as Princess leaves the house “all the time to go walking to McDonald’s at night.” Lesson learned: if you see a sturdy, well-fed dog begging for burgers, “quit feeding her fat a**.”
