Princess Kate joined members of the royal family in London for Remembrance Sunday to commemorate fallen soldiers. Her choice in earrings also honored the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The Princess of Wales stood alongside Queen Consort Camilla on a balcony above The Cenotaph war memorial overlooking King Charles and Prince William—who wore his red-collared Officer’s Cloak of The Blues and Royals—as they laid wreaths down during the memorial service.

In accordance with the traditional all-black dress code, Princess Kate re-wore her black military-style coat by Catherine Walker and black gloves. Her lapel was adorned with red poppies, a symbol to commemorate military members who died in wars, and a Royal Air Force pin. She paired the look with a wide-brimmed hat by Philip Treacy and earrings that appear to be repurposed from the demi-parure of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond and Pearl Leaf brooch, according to Hello! Magazine.

Princess Kate wore a similar ensemble at last year’s Remembrance Sunday. She was dressed in a black asymmetrical coat dress by Catherine Walker, a pair of black gloves, a wide-brimmed hat, and a pair of pearl earrings previously worn by Princess Diana.

On Saturday, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall, which was their first outing together since Prince Willaim returned from his trip to Singapore. Princess Kate, once again in all-black and adorned with poppy pins, wore a black long-sleeve midi dress paired with a matching clutch and heels. She honored Queen Elizabeth again by wearing her three-strand pearl necklace and earrings.
