Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice of York

The gorgeous royal siblings posed with some furry friends while wearing some seriously high fashion threads in the September issue of British Vogue.

Twenty eight-year-old Princess Eugenie told the mag that she “wasn’t stressed at all” about her upcoming Oct. 12 wedding to fiancée, Jack Brooksbank.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie aren't the first royals to star in a fashion magazine

In the fashion world, the September issue of any style magazine is a big deal.

To feature a royal family member in your September issue? An even bigger deal.

British Vogue’s Edward Enniful is pulling out all the stops for his first September issue as the magazine’s editor-in-chief.  The U.K. division of the Vogue empire made headlines this week when it revealed its latest cover star, Rihanna, in a high-fashion floral motif photographed by Nick Knight.

Now, it’s been revealed that the magazine scored an exclusive interview and photoshoot with Queen Elizabeth’s ultra-private granddaughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice of York.

With months left to go before Princess Eugenie’s October wedding to Jack Brooksbank, and with Beatrice’s 30th birthday less than a week away, the sisters are giving readers a rare glimpse into their lives.

Unlike their cousins, Princes William and Harry, Beatrice and Eugenie are not formally employed by the royal family — and admit it can be difficult to balance their career aspirations with royal duties.

In a sneak peek of the interview which hits newsstands on Aug. 3, Princess Beatrice says, “It’s hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol. We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we’re also princesses and doing all of this in the public eye.”
