Priyanka Chopra Says Having a Baby With Nick Jonas Is 'On My To-Do List'
Priyanka Chopra talked to Vogue India about her current life plans right now and how nine months into her marriage with Nick Jonas, the two are thinking about starting a family. Chopra explained her current plan to the outlet: “Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list," she said.
She sees Los Angeles as a longterm option for her and her husband. She currently has homes in Mumbai and New York City, Vogue India noted. “For me home is wherever I’m happy, as long as I have the people I love around me,” Chopra said.
For now, Chopra is in New York City. The actress attended Vanity Fair's fashion week party in a red lace dress last night.
Chopra has talked about her baby plans before, although she has described them on the horizon when the time is right. She told InStyle in June that "my big endgame is creating a formidable career and legacy for myself, but at the same time I want to have moved something. I want my existence to have meant something. I want my kids to turn around and be like, 'Yeah, that was my mom.'"
And at the end of July, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple's focus wasn't on having babies yet. "Nick and Priyanka want kids, but right now it’s not a priority," the outlet's source said. "Both are extremely busy, and with the Jonas Brothers reuniting and being a massive success the couple is conscious [of] how much time the tour takes up."
