Priyanka Chopra Wore a Sexy Low-Cut Butterfly Dress to the BAFTAs
This year, the BAFTAs took place remotely instead of at its usual location, the Royal Albert Hall. All the nominees accepted their awards from remote locations (such is life in a pandemic). The lucky presenters, however, got to walk the red carpet from Royal Albert Hall, where they posed on the step-and-repeat (like normal times!).
Priyanka Chopra was there as a presenter, and White Tiger, which she executive-produced, was nominated for seven awards at last night's ceremony. She showed up on the socially distant red carpet in white pants, a pink floral open jacket, a blue tassel necklace, and black heels. Her husband, Nick Jonas, joined her in a black tux.
For the ceremony, she switched to a black low-cut dress with a multicolored butterfly on the center. She matched the gown with black-tipped nails and a silver accent ring.
Chopra and Jonas have been spending much of the year apart, as Chopra has been filming a movie in London and Jonas has been filming The Voice in Los Angeles. On Valentine's Day, they both sent each other sweet gifts from afar.
When Jonas made his debut as Saturday Night Live host and musical guest in late February, Chopra wasn't able to be there, but she sent him her love in gift form from London: a bunch of celebratory balloons.
"My wife surprised me (all the way from London) with this today," Jonas wrote. "🚀👩🚀😍 thank you @priyankachopra you’re the best. SNL here we come!"
In February, Chopra told CNBC that filming during the pandemic has been "really daunting." She added: "My husband is a type-one diabetic, I'm asthmatic. I have my mum who’s living with me right now so, I just feel like I’m also, on the job, you know, responsible on a set of hundreds of people. So I take it very, very seriously," she said.
