Pudd Daddy: 'Seinfeld's' David Puddy makes hilarious appearance at Devils game

Well, you gotta support your team.
Well, you gotta support your team.

“Hey, you gotta let them know you’re out there. It’s the playoffs.”

There may never have been a statement more true than the one David Puddy once uttered to Elaine Benes while getting ready for a Devils playoff game.

Patrick Warburton, the actor who played Puddy (who’s a professed life-long Devils fan), was in attendance for Wednesday night’s Game 4 between New Jersey and Tampa. And what transpired in the stands at the Prudential Center was nothing short of pure magic.

As it turns out, there’s no one who can get Devils fans going quite like Puddy, and the team deserves a ton of credit for an excellent tribute to one of the greatest pop culture moments in their team’s history.

Although New Jersey ended up losing the game and currently trail Tampa 3-1 in the series, Puddy’s got a few wise words for any Lightning fans who think they’ve got this series in the bag.

“Don’t mess with the Devil buddy!”
