The Queen Is Cutting Her Vacation Short to Go Live on a Farm With Prince Philip

From Good Housekeeping

  • The Queen is ditching her vacation in Scotland early to spend time with Prince Philip on his farm.

  • She'll be living on Prince Philip's farm for about a month.

The Queen and Prince Philip are currently over in Scotland enjoying their summer vacation at the Balmoral Estate, but apparently they're leaving three weeks early to live on Prince Philip's farm. And when I say "farm" I mean, like, a giant estate with some cute animals.

According to The Daily Mail, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip will head to Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate, and palace officials are in the process of creating a "bubble" between Sandringham and Windsor Castle so the Queen and Philip can still see each other frequently once she returns to Windsor in October.

The Queen will stay with Philip at his farm for about a month, and sources say the couple has enjoyed spending so much time together during quarantine—with one insider musing "it's rather sweet."
