The royal baby has finally arrived, and Queen Elizabeth II reportedly could not be more excited to welcome her new great-grandchild.

A tweet from Kensington Palace says that the Queen, along with several other members of the royal family, including Prince Harry, have been informed of the birth and are "delighted with the news."

Kate and Will welcomed a boy at 11:01 a.m. on April 23rd at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London, according to a statement from Kensington Palace. He weighs 8 pounds and 7 ounces, and is fifth in line to the throne after Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

When Prince George was born in 2013, the Queen and Prince Philip tweeted their congratulations:

When Charlotte was born in 2015, Kensington Palace issued a similar statement to today's which read "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news."

Congratulations to the happy family!
