Today is Meghan Markle's 40th birthday! In honor of the big day, several of her royal in-laws posted their best birthday wishes for the Duchess of Sussex on social media.

Queen Elizabeth's official Twitter account, @RoyalFamily, posted, "Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday today!," with a red ballon emoji. The tweet was completed with several photos of Meghan, including one of her with the Queen and another with baby Archie and Prince Harry.

In a nearly identical tweet, the @ClarenceHouse Twitter, representing Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, shared, "Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday," also with a balloon emoji and a photo of Markle giving a radiant smile.

Prince William and Kate Middleton took to their @KensingtonRoyal Twitter to post, "Wishing a happy 40th birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!" They paired the message with a birthday cake emoji and a photo of Markle on Australia's Bondi Beach.

Fans have been holding out hope that the Sussexes would share a new family portrait for the occasion, offering the first glimpse of their new baby, Lili. Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on June 4, has yet to make her first photographic appearance, leaving fans eager for a look at the littlest royal.

Meghan did, however, decide to use her 40th birthday to do a little good. Through her and Prince Harry's non-profit organization, Archewell, the Duchess of Sussex is launching her 40x40 campaign, which aims to empower women as they reenter the workforce. The duchess asked 40 of her friends, including Adele, Melissa McCarthy, Gloria Steinem, and Amanda Gorman to donate 40 minutes of mentorship to a woman in their community.
