Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Lost a Very Furry Member of Her Inner Circle

The Queen is said to be "upset" over the tragic loss.

The royal family has reportedly lost another furry family member.

Weeks after Kate Middleton and Prince William lost their dog Lupo, it's been reported that Queen Elizabeth's dog, Vulcan, has sadly passed away.

The Sun reported that the Queen is "upset" at the loss of her beloved Dachschund-Corgi, who died of old age.

"Clearly the loss of a loved pet is upsetting," a palace source told the outlet.

The Queen has yet to make an official statement, but The Sun reported that Vulcan was buried at Windsor Castle. Queen Elizabeth still has one other dog, another Dorgi mix named Candy.

Last week, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared the sad news that their dog, Lupo, had died after being with their family for nine years.

"Very sadly last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away," the duke and duchess wrote. "He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much."
