On The Late Late Show, James Corden was pelted with tennis balls hit by actor Rainn Wilson, comedian Jack Whitehall, and, oh, one of the best tennis players of all time, Novak Djokovic. Corden wore protective gear that had a giant tennis ball on the front, and he had a water bottle on the top of his helmet. He asked his guests to knock the bottle off.
Wilson went first and tried to give it some muscle, but he missed. Whitehall also missed but got closer.
Then it was Djokovic’s turn. The tennis star, who has a serve that reaches 130 miles per hour, was handicapped by Corden, who told him he could only use his left hand. After a few frustratingly close attempts, Djokovic switched to his right hand, to cries of protest from Corden. On the second shot, Djokovic knocked the bottle clean off.
