Holders Rangers, last season's beaten finalists, Hibernian, and Partick Thistle have joined Celtic in the semi-finals of the Sky Sports Cup.

Rangers and Hibs both enjoyed 7-0 home victories - the Glasgow side against second-tier Boroughmuir Thistle and the Leith team versus Scottish Women's Premier League rivals Dundee United.

Thistle came from behind to edge top-tier rivals Montrose 2-1.

Celtic had beaten six-time winners Glasgow City 3-0 at home on Friday.

Hibs striker Eilidh Adams made it a memorable day as she marked her 100th appearance by captaining the side at the age of 19 and scoring a hat-trick.

Her first came after 18 minutes, but it was not until the second half when the hosts overwhelmed visitors who sit four places below them in ninth spot in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

Adams set up Jorian Baucom shortly after the break before adding her own second only two minutes later.

Her third came after just another five minutes, with Ellis Notley, Siobhan Hunter and Lauren Doran-Barr, the defender's first Hibs goal, all also finding the net.

It only took Rangers two minutes to get off the mark through Tess Middag against the side sitting fourth in SWPL2, with Megan Bell and Rio Hardy also finding the net by half-time.

Striker Hardy, Kirsty Howat, Laura Berry and Eilidh Austin, with the 18-year-old defender's first competitive goal, all scored after the break.

It looked like a shock result was on the cards when Louise Brown fired Montrose, who sit second bottom of SWPL1, ahead away to Thistle on the hour mark.

However, two goals in three minutes turned the game in favour of the sixth-placed hosts.

Rachel Donaldson equalised with 15 minutes remaining before Imogen Longcake took Thistle into their first-ever League Cup semi-final.
