Lindsay Lohan has kept a relatively low profile over the last few years. However, she definitely made a splash on Wednesday, sharing a few images of herself on Instagram from the Maldives, celebrating herself in a high-cut red one-piece swimsuit, and tagging it with a number of Marriott and W Hotel hashtags. (The photos drew heart emojis from none other than Diane Keaton, who is among Lohan's 8.8 million followers.) How did the Mean Girls star transform herself from a tabloid-headline-attraction to one of the healthiest versions of herself? Here is everything she did, as well as the pool pics to prove it works. 1 She Has Been Incredibly Healthy During the Pandemic @lindsaylohan / InstagramLohan recently told Page Six that she used her time in isolation wisely "exercising, cooking, brushing up on my French again, reading, journaling, watching a lot of films and, of course, occasional reality TV!" she said. Also, "Zooming with family, which is nice." 2 She Has Avoided Alcohol @lindsaylohan / InstagramThe actress/singer, who recently auctioned off the single Lullaby as an NFT, claims that abstaining from alcohol also helps her stay healthy. "I avoid alcohol," she has said, according to The Mirror. "In fact, I would rather go out diving in the sea at night than drink." 3 She Does Yoga Getty ImagesLohan recently revealed on social media that she is a poser—yoga poser that is! "Starting the day with yoga," she captioned a photo of herself decked out in workout clothes. 4 She Practices Gratitude Photo by James Devaney/GC ImagesLast year, Lohan said on Instagram that she had a "beautiful" birthday. "And during all these tough times I feel like I've learned to understand the simplicity of life and birthdays," Lohan continued, "I was thinking about how many birthdays I've had that are just like so extravagant and how lucky we all are to just have the people around us that we love and the people in our lives that we love and how simple is key." "I'm 34 now and it's been a beautiful day and I'm really happy and really grateful to have good people in my life and I look forward to sharing that with other people in my work and in everything I do from here on out," Lohan continued. 5 She's Closer to Her Fans Than Ever Photo by Raymond Hall/GC ImagesBesides Instagram, Lohan is on Cameo and Vanywhere, where fans can connect to her directly (for a price). In cheerful, sun-dappled messages, she hopes those who order her videos remain "happy, healthy and safe" and are "hanging in there with this pandemic going on." "God bless you," she says in one. "Stay beautiful," proving, after all these years, she's still so fetch.

McDonald's prides itself on a uniformly consistent quality of food from store to store, but many of us have experienced at least one instance of the fast-food chain being off its game. Whether your order is cold, your burger's missing the beef patty, or your McNuggets contain an injury-causing bone, these less-than-satisfying food experiences usually come about once in a blue moon and randomly. But there's one particular day of the week when things are more likely to go awry with your order at this beloved chain, according to one former McDonald's employee.Reddit user rocoonshcnoon, who identifies himself as having recently quit his job at McDonald's, decided to lay bare some of the chain's dirty secrets. Besides the fact that he never recommends ordering a Mickey D's breakfast past noon or bothering employees for freshly made McNuggets, he also revealed that on Sundays, your McDonald's order may not be as good as usual. (RELATED: 7 New Fast-Food Chicken Sandwiches Everyone's Talking About.)He further states that the reason for this lapse in quality is due to the fact that McDonald's general managers are usually off duty on Sundays, which inevitably causes a drop in food quality. When the cat's away . . . amiright?!I quit my job at mcdonalds so heres my confessions from r/teenagersWe've previously reported that the worst day of the week to eat at a chain restaurant is Monday—the day after a busy weekend period when employee fatigue sets in and ingredients run stale. That would make Thursdays and Fridays the best days to eat out because deliveries of fresh ingredients have recently taken place and the restaurants have their A-teams of chefs and servers working the busiest shifts. These all-star employees are likely to provide the best customer service. For more on McDonald's, check out We Tried Every Burger at McDonald's, and This Was the Best. Christina Aguilera has been in the public eye for over 30 years, since the age of 9. Now that she is 40 and the mother of two children, the superstar is taking time to look back and reflect on everything she has learned over the past few decades, revealing her tips and tricks to maintaining both physical and mental health in the new issue of Health. "Accepting yourself is what beauty is really about," she captioned a photo of the cover on Instagram. Read on to hear what she has to say. 1 She Has Had Mental Health Struggles Photo by COLIENA RENTMEESTER"I experienced a lot of trauma in my childhood—I've spoken very openly about it," she told the magazine. "But I think that was just part of my path. I've definitely had struggles in the past with depression and anxiety—it's a constant battle to overcome a mind that is anxious, a mind that is always second-guessing." 2 She "Hated Being Super Skinny" Photo by Dave Hogan/Getty ImagesWhen Christina was her skinniest, she was also the most insecure. "I think we all have our good days and our bad days in how we feel about ourselves. Entering this business, I hated being super skinny," she confessed. "Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves. I appreciated having a booty. I've always said that women are way more interesting to look at than men! I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure. I would never want to relive my 20s—you're so in your own head and finding your confidence. As you age, you stop comparing yourself to other people and start appreciating your own body and owning it." 3 She Has Worked Through Insecurities Photo by Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images for DisneyChristina admits that by being honest, she has worked through her insecurities. "I'm proud of my honesty. It's a really hard thing to stick to in this business, especially when you've grown up under a microscope at a time when society was very critical of young women. I've had to work through a lot of insecurities in front of everybody. Every setback has catapulted me forward. I think that's my fighting spirit. And, at the end of the day, living that truth and being honest has always propelled me forward," she said. 4 She Has Stopped Living for Other People At her "Christina Aguilera: The Xperience" residency at Planet Hollywood Resort&Casino // Photo by Getty ImagesWhile she once lived for others, she is now living for herself. "You start asking yourself: 'Why am I holding back in certain areas of my life? Who am I really living my life for?' And with age, you figure out that life is too short to waste time thinking about what other people think about you. I've realized I am making memories for myself and that I shouldn't worry about what other people think," she explained. 5 She Has Let Herself Be "Vulnerable" Photo by Presley Ann/Getty Images for SHEINIn recent years, she has been an open book. "You know, I've been hearing that a lot lately because I've been super open and vulnerable. I've been approaching all of my writing sessions by being an open book and saying, 'Look, this is how I felt.' A lot of people have been like, 'Wait, I had no idea you ever felt this way because you've always been a pillar of strength with your messages.' Yes, I've always been grounded in knowing myself. But even in owning your truth and power, there are moments of weakness. I am not ashamed to say that I have my dark moments," she said. 6 She Does Yoga Photo by Mike Marsland/WireImageIn addition to writing a lot I write a lot, which is "grounding and centering" for her, she finds solace in getting in touch with nature and herself. "Also, getting outside helps—even if it's just my backyard. Feeling grass under my feet and looking at trees and clouds helps," she said. "Yoga has also been instrumental in helping me."
