I Rarely Get Blackheads Anymore, Thanks To This One Cleanser

Ahh, blackheads. They're kind of bittersweet aren't they? On one hand, I hate when they show up on my face, but on the other, the satisfaction of removing them is a little guilty pleasure I've long enjoyed. However, once the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation shows up, I often question why I decided to pick at my skin in the first place.

Thankfully, there's a cleanser that works to both gently prevent and clear existing blackheads — and I swear by it.

Boscia's Clear Complexion Cleanser has been my go-to face wash for the past two years and my skin has never looked better. The magic is all in the gel-like formula, containing willow bark-extracted salicylic acid, which helps to gently exfoliate and clear pores, while geranium helps to balance oil production, and rosemary extract works to firm skin.

To get an even deeper clean, I like pairing the cleanser with my gentle Luna Mini 3 from Foreo, which gives me tons of extra lather without any irritation of a traditional cleansing brush.

But whether you use a cleansing tool, or just your fingertips, the good news is that it won't take too long for you to start noticing results. After about a month of cleansing once a day at night (I usually just wash my face with water in the morning), I began to see significantly less blemishes. With prolonged nightly use, I've been left with consistently ultra-smooth, clear skin.

To sweeten the deal, after about three months, the blackheads around my nose — which have been a pain to clear up since I was a teenager — essentially became (and still are) non-existent, all without having to physically extract them.

With the plethora of cleansers that land on my desk every week, there's a reason why Boscia's masterpiece has yet to be knocked from its throne. Simply put, it works. And I promise you won't regret putting it to the test.
