After a shocking report that Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich had ended their engagement within just two months, details are emerging about what happened. According to a source for E!, it all "started going downhill" in the weeks before Ehrich traveled to Atlanta for a job. "They were arguing a lot and Demi didn't want him to go without her," the source claimed.
It was more than just time apart, however, according to the same source, Lovato "didn't know who Max truly was and didn't think he had good intentions."
They also claimed that "there were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to." Another added that "she doesn't trust him and thinks he's sketchy."
In the initial reports about the split, a source told People that it was "a tough decision," but that the pair were splitting to "focus on their respective careers."
