Rebel Wilson channelled Hollywood glamour in a glittering green gown at the premiere of Netflix's Senior Year in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The actor, 42, stunned in a floor-length custom shimmering gown by Jason Wu. The flattering dress featured an off-the-shoulder smouldering sweetheart neckline and a ruched cross detailing at the bust that accentuated her hourglass frame.

Sparkling green high heels added height to Wilson’s svelte 5' 2" frame, and her signature blonde blow dry cascaded down over her bare shoulders.

Wilson confidently posed on the red carpet in the figure-hugging dress before eagerly reuniting with her Senior Year co-stars.

The actor stars as Stephanie Conway in the Netflix film in which a cheerleading stunt gone wrong lands her in a 20-year coma. Now 37, and newly awake she’s ready to live out everything she missed, including her high school dream of becoming prom queen.

Wilson recently opened up about her own “difficult high school days” in an interview with Extra TV in light of the film’s upcoming release on the streaming platform.

“I was really unpopular,” she revealed to special correspondent Marissa Montgomery. “In my first year of high school, I just sat in the library at lunch all by myself everyday.”

“I went on a deliberate mission to become popular. I read a book called How to Win Friends and Influence People, and it worked. In a year or two I was the most popular.”

The actor made headlines in 2020 after declaring it her 'Year of Health', and losing around 77lbs in the process.

Wilson has since debunked rumours that she endorsed any diet pills or magic weight loss pills, telling Shape magazine that she had never previously considered her health “from all angles”, and telling People she now looks for an “overall healthy balance” when it comes to health and nutrition.
