Liberty Ross may’ve worn her actual wedding dress to the Oscars, but she’s by no means the only celebrity to wear a frock this award’s season that could easily pass as a bridal gown. Everyone from Rooney Mara to Serena Williams has been slipping into varying hues of white, silver and cream for their moment in the spotlight, looking every inch the blushing bride.
And best of all, the array of dresses donned has opened our eyes to the huge range of cuts and silhouettes out there - making that bog-standard strapless white frock a distant memory.
