First daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump used a personal email account to communicate with at least one member of President Donald Trump's administration.

Federal watchdog group American Oversight obtained the documents through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and shared them with Newsweek on Monday. The documents show Ivanka Trump used a personal email account on February 28 during a correspondence with Linda McMahon, the administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Ivanka Trump reached out to McMahon in an effort to “explore opportunities to collaborate” with the Small Business Administration on “women’s entrepreneurship."
