Rihanna Just Debuted New Dreadlocks on Instagram

Over the past few months, Rihanna has sported every hairstyle from a blunt blonde bob to butt-grazing extensions. And because it wouldn’t be a normal week in the RiRi’s world without a major hair update, she just swapped her latest pin-straight strands for dreadlocks.
Just a few days after the singer presented her second Fenty x Puma collection at Paris Fashion Week wearing her long, center-parted hair pulled into a slicked low ponytail, Rihanna revealed a brand new do on Instagram. The photo, captioned “buffalo $oldier,” shows her new thigh-length dreads cascading down her back. She paired her mane makeover with an oversize long-sleeve t-shirt and lace-up pants.

It’s unclear whether her new look is for a shoot or just for fun, but regardless she’s totally working it. And her followers were quick to support her with all the “praise hand” emojis.
