RJ Hampshire 2nd Wrist Surgery Update
Today, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's reigning 250SX West Champion RJ Hampshire took to Instagram for an update about his wrist injury.
Apologize for the late update, a lot has happened the last few weeks. My Wrist was still an issue when I got back on the bike a few weeks ago so another surgery was needed. Will be ready to go when racing comes around 👊🏼 @husqvarnamotorcyclesusa @rockstarenergy - RJ Hampshire (via Instagram)
Hampshire, who injured his wrist during the Playoff 1 SMX round in Charlotte and then again for Playoff 2 at the Texas Motor Speedway, was not able to race the SuperMotocross World Championship round in Las Vegas.
He already had one surgery this off-season. Still, another one was needed when he returned to riding the bike a few weeks ago in preparation for 2025. He says, "I will be ready to go when racing comes around."
