Russian curler compared to Angelina Jolie for her model looks breaks the internet

If you’ve been keeping up with curling, you know all about Russian darling Anastasia Bryzgalova.

The 25-year-old athlete has been turning heads at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and not just because of her in-turn. She also happens to be one of the most beautiful women to hit the ice with a broom. Not impressed? Some Twitter users are comparing her to Angelina Jolie and Adriana Lima — and the resemblance is clear.

The athlete has competed multiple times since the 2018 PyeongChang Games started Thursday, and people who’ve seen her do so have been hypnotized by her beauty and the glare she gives when watching the stone. There’s been so much buzz about her piercing eyes and long brown locks that even those who find curling as “interesting as watching paint dry” have tuned in to see what all the fuss is about. And everyone’s tweeting about it.

“I thought curling was a sport for old balding men but Anastasia Bryzgalova be looking like Megan Fox and suddenly I love curling #Olympics #curling,” one new fan said.

“The Russian curling mixed doubles team is led by Anastasia Bryzgalova, who looks like Angelina Jolie at 21 if she ever picked up a broom,” wrote another.

People can’t stop gushing about her “model” looks.

She even has the support of people from other countries

And she’s even more beautiful off the ice. Her Instagram profile features photos from her wedding, at which she looked like a princess.
