Ryan Reynolds Wrote the Sweetest Instagram Post for Blake Lively's 36th Birthday
If there were an award for "best celebrity couple," I'd nominate Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
Blake celebrated her 36th birthday on August 25, and Ryan took a pause from his traditionally hilarious bday captions to dedicate the *sweetest* tribute to his wife of almost 11 years. He included beautiful pics of Blake along with adorable selfies of the two of them in the carousel, writing, "The only thing irrevocably mine in the world is the love and appreciation and awe I feel for this person. Witnessing her life is something I couldn't take for granted if I tried. And believe me, I try. Happy Birthday @blakelively. You hung the damn moon." BRB, crying.
"Can you teach my husband to post something like this RR?????" journalist Katie Couric wrote in the comment section.
"What's going on?? It's actually a non-unhinged bday post!" another user joked.
For reference, last year's birthday post from Ryan to Blake read "Happy Birthday @blakelively. You're spectacular. I'm not sure if you were born or invented. Also, thank you for urging me to leave the house every now and again. ❤️," and featured a pic of Blake sleeping with lettuce on her face. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
And don't worry, Blake got him back, too. On Ryan's birthday in 2020, she posted "1) Who is the lost soul that selects birthday PIE. 2) What ANIMAL eats their cake (pie) without first blowing out the candles. @vancityreynolds that's who. Happy Birthday. I honestly can't believe we're still married."
Based on the evidence above, I have to believe Ryan and Blake will be together forever. And if not, then that means love simply doesn't exist and there isn't hope for any of us. Anyways, happy birthday Blake!
