Ryan Seacrest is striving to embrace work-life balance.

A day after returning to Live With Kelly and Ryan, the 45-year-old was all smiles in his first Instagram since appearing on American Idol’s season 18 finale. The longtime TV host's post last Wednesday showed him ready for another day of filming alongside his pup Georgia.

“Switched up the Zoom background,” he captioned the Instagram pics. “Georgia picked her favorite spot!”

The Instagram is a good sign for concerned fans. As Idol viewers know, Ryan appeared to suddenly have a swollen right eye and slurred speech while hosting the competition series on May 17. He was then absent from Live with Kelly and Ryan the Monday after the Idol finale.

Thankfully, a rep for Ryan reassured everyone that he's in good health and was simply in need of rest.

By the looks of things, Ryan's taking his rep's advice to heart. On Memorial Day, fans saw Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, filling in for the co-host. Meanwhile, Ryan was taking a much-needed day off.

Before Monday, Ryan gave fans a look at what he was up to over the weekend. “A breath of fresh air.... even from behind a mask,” he wrote on Instagram this past Sunday.

Fans of the TV veteran immediately began showing their love and support in the comments section of his Sunday post. “Breathe the fresh air,” one person wrote. “Hope you’re getting back to full strength,” another added. “Looking great Ryan ❤️,” a different fan said. “Get walking my man!! 🤘🏻🔥,” a follower commented.

It’s great to see Ryan focusing on himself.
