Sarah Jessica Parker Wore Her Favorite Babydoll Shoes With an $8 Amazon Trend

Yesterday was the Golden Globes, which meant Dior gowns, tulle dresses, and general glamour everywhere. On top of that, supermodels like Gigi and Bella Hadid were spotted out in Paris wearing their best off-duty model looks to finish out fashion month. Hailey Bieber wore the color of the year head-to-toe topped off with a fuzzy bucket hat. Jennifer Lopez had a self-care Sunday in a sexy one-piece swimsuit. But like our relatable fashion north star, Sarah Jessica Parker wore the outfit we'd most likely be seen in.
Parker is without a doubt a style icon. She's basically an IRL Carrie Bradshaw. That being said, Parker also dresses like a working woman and finds a way to look like SJP but also (sometimes) just like us. This is especially the case now that she's working the floor at her shoe store in downtown Manhattan seemingly every day. For her most recent work day, Parker wore a floral jacket with a pair of gray sweatpants and her beloved SJP baby doll shoes.
Parker has been wearing gray sweatpants, a loungewear style you can get on Amazon for as low as $8, for the past couple of weeks. And she's long been dedicated to the baby doll shoe trend she put on the map, especially when glitter is involved. But her most recent styling of her $262 SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker Mary-Jane pumps may have been her most surprising yet.
Parker gave her nod of approval to styling the dress-up shoe with a dress-down pant, and it's the most 2021 thing we've ever seen. Now that March is here, and it's nearly the one-year anniversary of the apocalypse, this outfit feels right at home and right on time. It's the perfect mixed of dressed-up and not-dressed-up that many of us have been wearing for months (and will probably keep doing). Some things never change. But let's hope this March at least feels different than last March, even if it looks the same.
